As you were on the verge of sleep, the mattress shifted when Warren got into bed next to you. He wrapped his strong arm around your waist and pulled you close to his naked torso since he had taken off his clothes already.

Nuzzling into the nook of your neck, he took a deep breath of your fragrance and then gently kissed your soft skin. "I missed you baby," Warren murmured in a husky voice.

Warren cuddled up behind you, eyes shut. The day had been exhausting, filled with endless, mind-numbing meetings. Considering he had only managed about 15 hours of sleep in the whole week, he was spent. Yet, being able to return to you made it worthwhile.

"What was your day like?" he murmured, his voice rough with fatigue. He was already drifting off but fought to stay awake a little longer.
