Privacy Policy
Effective 12 July 2026 · Applies to aroused.ai
Aroused ("we", "us") is the brand operating aroused.ai, an AI companion platform for adults, currently in pre-launch early access. This policy says what we collect, why, and what we never do, in plain language. Questions and requests: [email protected].
What we collect
- Early-access list. When you sign up we store your email address, the 6-digit confirmation state, when you confirmed, the page that opened the signup, basic campaign parameters (UTM tags) if present, and the IP address and browser user-agent of the submission, used for abuse prevention.
- Demo chats. Messages you type into the companion demo, together with the companion configuration you chose, are sent to our AI provider to generate the reply. Demo chats are not linked to an account (there are no accounts yet) and are not used to build profiles of you.
- Age confirmation. A cookie recording that you confirmed being 18 or older, so we do not ask on every visit.
- Server logs. Standard technical logs (IP, URL, timestamp, status) kept briefly for security and debugging.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data. To anyone, ever.
- We do not publish your conversations or use them for advertising.
- We do not send marketing beyond the early-access updates you signed up for.
- We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18; the entire service is age-gated.
Processors we rely on
Demo replies are generated by Google's Gemini API; your demo messages are processed by Google as our provider for that single purpose. Email delivery of confirmation codes uses a transactional mail provider. Hosting is on infrastructure we control. Each processor receives only what its job requires.
How long we keep things
- Early-access entries: until launch onboarding completes or you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first.
- Demo chat content: processed to generate the reply and retained only in short-lived technical logs.
- Server logs: rotated on a short schedule, typically within weeks.
Your rights
Email [email protected] from the address in question and we will confirm what we hold, correct it, or delete it, usually within days and always within the timelines the law gives you (GDPR and similar regimes where applicable). Unsubscribing is one reply: say "remove me".
Cookies
We set the age-confirmation cookie, a session cookie, and a CSRF token. No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Changes
If this policy changes materially before launch, we will note it here with a new effective date and email the early-access list about anything significant. This page is the single current version; see also the Terms of Service and the FAQ.
