OurDream AI review: is OurDream AI safe, and worth paying for?

OurDream AI is worth paying for if you want unlimited chat with characters plus generated pictures and some video, and you are happy to pay a year up front: $119.88, or $9.99 a month, is strong value in this category. It is a legitimate service from a Delaware company, with a fairer refund policy than most rivals. Two things deserve a second look before you pay. The coin balance, not the message count, is what runs out, and its homepage promises end-to-end encrypted chats that its own privacy policy does not describe.

We build a competing product, so weigh this accordingly. Every figure below came from OurDream's own homepage, policies and the code its site sends to the browser, read on 21 September 2026, not from other review sites.

How much does OurDream AI cost?

OurDream has no pricing page. The address ourdream.ai/pricing shows "Page Not Found", so the prices have to be pieced together from two places. The homepage FAQ and its structured data give the Premium plan:

• Premium monthly: $19.99 every 30 days.
• Premium yearly: $119.88 once a year, which OurDream describes as $9.99 a month, plus 1,000 bonus coins when you first subscribe.

The price table its checkout loads into the browser adds a second tier and the coin store, none of which appears on the homepage:

• Deluxe monthly: $59.99 every 30 days.
• Deluxe yearly: $359.88 once a year, $29.99 a month.
• Coin packs: $11.99 for 1,000, $49.99 for 5,000, $159.99 for 20,000.

Both yearly plans cost exactly half of twelve monthly payments ($239.88 and $719.88), which is a better long-term discount than most of the category offers. The code also contains first-payment discounts and paid-trial settings. We could not see when those appear, so if your checkout shows a lower first charge, look for the renewal price before you pay.

What is the difference between OurDream Premium and Deluxe?

Coins, mostly. In OurDream's own words: "Premium comes with 1,000 Dreamcoins a month; Deluxe comes with 5,000, plus free Premium chat models and 3x chat memory." Both include unlimited messages, audio messages, image and video generation, voice calls and character publishing. If you chat but rarely generate video, Premium is the plan. Deluxe only pays off if you would otherwise buy more than about 4,000 coins a month in packs.

What do OurDream Dreamcoins actually buy?

OurDream says "every 1,000 coins covers roughly 200 images, 20 minutes of voice calls, or 10 videos". That works out to about 5 coins an image, 50 a minute of calling and 100 a video. Premium's monthly 1,000 coins is therefore about ten videos, or two hundred images, or twenty minutes on the phone with your character. It is one of those, not all three.

Plan coins are topped up "on every billing date", and coins you buy separately stay on the account until you spend them. At the pack prices, an extra video costs roughly $1.20 on the smallest pack and $0.80 on the largest. That is our arithmetic on OurDream's own rates, and it is the number that matters if video is why you are signing up. OurDream's FAQ is candid about this trade: "At face value we are more expensive", it says, arguing that the included coins save the "$20-40+ per month on additional tokens" users spend elsewhere.

Is OurDream AI safe?

As a business, yes. Its terms name Dream Studio USA, Inc., a Delaware corporation, and its refund policy adds Dream Studio LLC and Tektopia Ltd. It publishes a full set of policies, including content moderation, underage and anti-trafficking rules, and a 2257 exemption statement. Its FAQ says characters that look underage and deepfakes of real people are banned. Billing is promised to be discreet, and it takes card, crypto and regional payment methods.

On privacy, read two of its pages side by side. The homepage FAQ says "your chats are safe with end-to-end encryption" and that "no one can read them, not even us". The privacy policy describes data "encrypted both at rest and in transit using industry-standard AES encryption and TLS 1.3", which is good practice but is not end-to-end encryption, and it lists using information "to train our artificial intelligence/machine learning models". We could not verify which description applies to chat logs. The policy is the legal document, so we would assume the company can read your chats, as you should on any service in this category, ours included.

Two smaller gaps sit alongside it. The privacy policy says OurDream does "not engage in advertising as of the date of this Policy", while its homepage loads a Meta pixel, a TikTok pixel and two Google Tag Manager containers, and its affiliate program pays "up to 40% RevShare or $70 CPA". And the company gives three different user counts: "over 10 million dreamers" on the homepage, "over 50m users" in its pricing text and "70M+ users" on the affiliate page. We report both gaps as we found them; we do not know the reason for either.

Does OurDream AI keep your data after you delete your account?

Mostly no, with one exception worth knowing if you publish characters. You can delete the account from Settings, and the policy lists the usual rights to access and erase data. But if a character you set to "Public" becomes popular, OurDream reserves the right to keep that character active "even if you otherwise delete your data and your account", because other people are talking to it. The policy's own advice is to leave personal details out of public characters. Private companions are not affected.

A practical habit for any adult subscription: sign up with an email address you keep for this kind of service, not your work or main personal one. If that leaves you juggling several accounts, it is easy to read every mailbox in one place so receipts and renewal notices still reach you.

Can you get a refund from OurDream AI?

Sometimes, which is better than most. The Refund Policy has a 14-day "Quality Guarantee": if the service has a defect or is "significantly different from its description", you can write to support within 14 days and OurDream "may offer a credit, replacement, rectification of the service provided, or a refund", decided case by case, usually within 7 business days. Canceling stops future bills but "unused portions of a billing period are generally non-refundable", crypto payments are final, and buyers in the EEA, UK and Switzerland get a statutory 14-day withdrawal right.

Do not start with your bank. The policy says a chargeback filed without contacting support first "may result in suspension of your account pending investigation", and formal disputes go to individual JAMS arbitration under Delaware law, with a class action waiver and a stated way to opt out.

Is there an OurDream AI app?

Not on the US App Store. A search there for OurDream returned 44 apps and none was published by Dream Studio. OurDream runs in the browser at ourdream.ai and at ourdream.io, which its terms treat as one service with one account. Be careful with lookalikes, too: ourdreamai.net forwards its buttons to a Candy AI sign-up page with an affiliate id, and ourdream-ai.com forwards to a different product called Sweet Dream. Type the address yourself.

OurDream AI vs Aroused: which is the better buy?

If you want pictures and video of a character, OurDream is the stronger product, and for unlimited messaging it is cheaper than us: $119.88 a year against $299.94 for our unlimited Devotion plan. It also has a large public library of user-made characters, which we do not.

So, is OurDream AI worth it?

For a heavy chatter who also wants images, yes, on the yearly plan. For someone attracted by video, budget for coins or Deluxe, because ten videos a month is the Premium allowance. And whichever you choose, read the privacy policy rather than the homepage FAQ for what happens to your messages.
