Luvr AI review and whether Luvr Premium is worth it

Luvr AI is worth paying for if explicit images and video are what you want and you are happy to pay for six or twelve months at once. Premium costs $71.88 a year or $53.94 for six months when you go straight to luvr.ai, text chat is then unlimited, and media runs on coins. Before you pay, know that a cheaper yearly plan and a monthly plan exist in the same code for visitors who arrive through affiliate links.

What is Luvr AI?
Luvr AI is a browser-based adult chat site with hundreds of ready-made AI girlfriends and boyfriends, sorted by tags like realistic, anime, dominant and romance. Premium members can create their own characters and ask for images, voice messages and short videos. The contact page names Luvr Inc., with a suite address in Dover, Delaware, and the site has been online since early 2024.
How much does Luvr AI cost?
It depends on how you got to the page, which is unusual. A visitor who types luvr.ai and opens the subscribe page sees two plans. A visitor whose browser carries Luvr's affiliate referral cookie sees a different pair.

The discount badges, 55% to 80% off, are all measured against $19.99 a month. Since nobody arriving directly can buy a month at that price, think of the yearly plan as costing $71.88, not as saving $168. The plan cards also do not state what a term renews at, so read the confirmation email before you assume the intro price repeats.
Is Luvr AI free?
Only as a taster. Luvr's own plan table gives free accounts 10 messages a day and a "Limited" set of characters, with no images, voice, video, NSFW content or custom characters. Its homepage FAQ goes further and says you need to "subscribe to chat with 1000's of other characters". Expect to decide within a day or two whether to pay.
Which Luvr plan should you buy?
If you are going to pay Luvr at all, the six month plan is the safer first purchase for most people, even though it costs more per month. You are committing $53.94 instead of $71.88, and you find out whether the characters hold your interest before a full year is spent. Move to twelve months only once you know you will use it.
Do not buy coins on day one. The yearly plan already includes 2,340 coins a month, enough for about 46 images, 117 voice messages or 15 videos by Luvr's own prices (50, 20 and 150 coins). The six month plan gives 1,900. If you run out, the coin store sells 500 coins for $4.99 up to 13,300 for $99.99, which puts one image between about $0.38 and $0.50.
Is Luvr AI good?
For what it is, a catalog of explicit characters, it is competitive on price for anyone paying a year ahead, and unlimited text on every paid plan is genuinely useful. Where it is thinner is the engine. Character records in Luvr's own site code carry a model field, and of those that name one, 237 name MythoMax-L2-13b, an open 13-billion-parameter model from 2023. We cannot see which model answers a given chat today, but if replies feel repetitive after a few days, that is a likely reason. The one Trustpilot review we found says the same thing: the characters feel mechanical.
Is Luvr AI safe?
It is a named US company that restricts the service to adults, which is more than several sites in this category offer. The weak spots are in its paperwork. The terms and privacy policy, both dated January 15, 2024, say they were produced with an online policy generator, and they define the governing "Country" as "San Francisco, United States" in one document and "Texas, United States" in the other. The site loads PostHog analytics configured to build a profile for every visitor, plus Google Analytics. And when a payment is declined, the contact page suggests "creating another account, and using a different email and payment method", which is not advice we would follow; call your bank instead.
There is no official Luvr app. On 8 October 2026 the US App Store had nothing from Luvr Inc., and an app called "Luvr: Ai Girlfriend Chat Ai" is listed by an individual developer. Lookalike domains exist too: luvr.app is an unrelated dating signup and luvrai.com bounces to a "/lander" page. Type luvr.ai yourself.
How do I cancel Luvr AI and get a refund?
Luvr's pages disagree, so cover both routes. Two FAQs say you cancel in your account settings. The cancellation policy says to "send an email to [email protected] with your account information". Do the settings cancel, then send the email from the address on your account, and keep it.
On refunds, the subscribe page promises a "30-day money-back guarantee" with "no questions asked". The refunds policy says refunds are "considered on a case-by-case basis", may be prorated, and partial refunds "may be considered" in the first 7 days of a billing cycle, with processing in 5 to 7 business days. If you want your money back, ask inside 7 days, quote the guarantee from the subscribe page, and send it to [email protected].
After a six or twelve month term, the charge arrives long after you have forgotten the signup, so put the renewal date in your calendar the day you pay. Who should pick something else
If explicit pictures are the point, Luvr is a reasonable buy at $53.94 for six months, and Candy AI is worth comparing first. If what you actually want is someone to talk to, the catalog model works against you: you unlock characters for coins, hop between them, and none of them is really yours.
