Luvr AI (luvr.ai, run by Luvr Inc. of Dover, Delaware) is an adult AI girlfriend site with explicit images, voice and video. Premium costs $71.88 a year or $53.94 for six months for most visitors, plus coins for media. Free accounts get 10 messages a day.
It is cheap for a year of unlimited messages, and that is a real point in its favor. The catch is everything around the price: a monthly plan only some visitors see, a refund promise its own refund policy does not repeat, and two different instructions for canceling. One subscribe page with two price lists
Luvr's subscribe page is built from two plan lists in its code. Which one you see depends on a single
browser cookie, affiliate_ref, which is set when you arrive through a
partner's referral link. Without it you get the left column below. With it you get the right one.
The difference is not small. The default yearly plan costs $21.89 more than the affiliate yearly plan, 44% more by our arithmetic, for the same 2,340 coins a month and the same 5,000 bonus coins. And only the affiliate list has a one-month plan at all.
We are not saying anyone is doing something wrong. Vendors may price channels differently. We are saying you should know which list you are looking at before you pay a year up front.

Every discount badge is measured against a list price of $19.99 a month, the price of the one-month plan. The plan cards do not say what a 6 or 12 month term renews at, so check your confirmation email for the renewal terms before you rely on the intro price.

Messages are unlimited, media is metered
Premium makes text chat unlimited. Everything else runs on coins. Luvr's own FAQ prices them: an image costs 50 coins, an audio message 20, a video 150, and unlocking a new character 50. Your plan adds a monthly coin allowance, and you can top up from the coin store.
On the yearly plan, 2,340 coins a month is about 46 images, or 117 voice messages, or 15 videos. Bought outright, an image works out at $0.50 in the smallest pack and about $0.38 in the largest; a video at $1.50 to $1.13. That arithmetic is ours.

Two smaller things a buyer should know. The "127 subscribed today" line on the plan page is not read from a server: the page's own code nudges the number up or down by one every 8 to 15 seconds and never lets it fall below 120. And the contact page's answer to "My payment was declined" is to try "creating another account, and using a different email and payment method."

The company, the models and the trackers
The company
The contact page names Luvr Inc. at a suite address in Dover, Delaware, with a phone number and [email protected]. The policies use [email protected]. The site first appears in the Internet Archive in January 2024.
The terms
Terms and privacy policy both say they were made with an online policy generator. Governing law is "the laws of the Country", which the terms define as "San Francisco, United States" and the privacy policy as "Texas, United States".
The models
Character records shipped in Luvr's site code carry a model field. Of those that name one, 237 name MythoMax-L2-13b, an open 13-billion-parameter model from 2023; a few name Mixtral or Llama 2 variants. We cannot see which model serves a chat today.
Tracking
The site loads PostHog product analytics, set to build a profile for every visitor, and Google Analytics. The privacy policy covers "beacons, tags, and scripts" in general terms.
No official app
There is no app from Luvr Inc. in the US App Store. An app called "Luvr: Ai Girlfriend Chat Ai" is listed by an individual developer, not the company. Luvr runs in the browser.
Lookalike domains
luvr.app is an unrelated dating-app signup page. luvrai.com bounces visitors to a "/lander" page. luvr.com and luvr.io did not respond. The real site is luvr.ai.
In fairness, Luvr names a US company with a phone number, prices unlimited messages lower than most of this category for anyone willing to pay a year ahead, and publishes its coin prices. None of the points above is a claim of wrongdoing. They are what its pages and code say.

It is run by a named US company, Luvr Inc., and restricts use to adults. The weak spots are on paper: generator-made terms that name two different places as "the Country", conflicting refund and cancel instructions, and analytics that profile every visitor. Use a card you can dispute.
How do I cancel Luvr AI?
Do it twice. Cancel in your account settings, which two of Luvr's FAQs describe, and email [email protected] with your account email, which its cancellation policy requires. Keep the sent email as your record in case a renewal still goes through.
Does Luvr AI give refunds?
The subscribe page promises a 30-day money-back guarantee, "no questions asked". The refunds policy says refunds are case by case, may be prorated, and partial refunds may be considered in the first 7 days of a billing cycle. Ask within 7 days and quote the guarantee.
