It shut down in April 2025, came back in September 2025, and now sells Green at $7 a month, Purple at $14 and Gold at $28 on the web, or $72, $132 and $264 a year. The iPhone app charges $9, $18 and $36 for the same plans. Free users get 100 energy a day plus ads. Explicit content is banned, purchases are non-refundable, and it is no longer on Google Play in the US.

The web list also has 2,460 cells for $30 and 9,200 for $100. Xoul's FAQ says yearly billing "saves you 20%". On its own list prices, Green saves 14.3% and Purple and Gold save 21.4% against twelve monthly payments (our arithmetic).

Why is Xoul more expensive on iPhone

Xoul's US App Store listing prices Green Monthly at $9.00, Purple Monthly at $18.00 and Gold Monthly at $36.00. On the web the same plans are $7, $14 and $28. Purple Yearly is $167.99 in the app against $132 on the web, a $35.99 gap on one purchase.

That is normal for apps that pay Apple's commission, and Xoul is open about both prices. The practical advice is simple: if you are going to pay Xoul, subscribe in a browser, not in the app. The app listing also still sells two older plans, Blue and Red, that the web paywall no longer shows.

Is Xoul AI safe

A real US company, with a strict content line

Xoul is not a fly-by-night site. Xoul Inc. publishes terms under California law and gives a San Francisco street address. What a buyer should know sits in four places.

Content rules

The terms ban sexually explicit content outright, and the FAQ removes characters featuring "pornography, nudity". When a prompt crosses the line, Xoul's own site says it "may come out filtered or blocked" and suggests a separate uncensored app, with a tracked referral link. Adults only: users must be at least 18.

Money

"Purchases are non-refundable." You can cancel any time in account settings and keep access to the end of the term. Disputes go to individual AAA arbitration in San Francisco with a class action waiver. Xoul takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

Your data

The privacy policy, last updated 20 May 2024, keeps personal information for as long as you have an account, and says some may be retained after deletion "to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems". It predates the relaunch, so read it with that in mind.

Tracking

The homepage loads Google Analytics. The app code also carries Amplitude with autocapture and session replay plugins, Sentry, Firebase and an ad SDK for the watch-an-ad energy reward. Our pages load no analytics and no advertising tags.
