Moescape AI pricing in 2026: what every plan, Mochi pack and Yodayo subscription costs

Moescape AI sells four subscription tiers, Plus at $9.99 a month, Pro at $14.99, Premium at $29.99 and Platinum at $39.99, with Platinum Annual at $359.99 a year, and Mochi packs from $4.99 for 550 up to $99.99 for 17,000. Those figures come from the US App Store listing, read on 6 September 2026, because Moescape publishes no price on its own website and its FAQ names none either. The same ladder covers Yodayo, which runs on the same platform under a different brand name.

How much does Moescape AI cost?

Moescape AI costs $9.99 a month on Plus, $14.99 on Pro, $29.99 on Premium and $39.99 on Platinum, and Platinum can be paid annually at $359.99. That works out at $30.00 a month against $39.99 billed monthly, a saving of $119.89 over a year, which is the only annual term in the listing.

One oddity worth noticing before you pick: Platinum Annual at $359.99 costs almost exactly the same over a year as Premium billed monthly at $359.88. If you were going to commit for twelve months anyway, the top tier is effectively priced at the third tier's annual cost. Whether that is worth it depends on what Platinum includes, and that is the part nobody publishes. See the caveat below.

How much do Mochi cost?

Mochi is the platform currency, and it is sold in five packs. The important thing the table shows is that the packs are not priced proportionally: the smallest one costs about 54% more per Mochi than the largest, so topping up in $4.99 increments is the most expensive way to use the product.

If you already know you are going to be a regular user, the $19.99 pack is the point where the per-unit price stops improving quickly. Everything above it saves single-digit percentages, which is not much of a reason to leave $80 sitting in an account you might stop using. Everything below it is a convenience purchase you pay for twice.

Why can I not find Moescape's prices on its website?

Because Moescape does not publish them there. Checked on 6 September 2026, the obvious URLs, /pricing, /plans and /premium, all return a client-side error rather than a page. The real subscription page at /subscription loads its heading, "Unlock the best with Subscription!", and a short FAQ, but not a single figure. And the official FAQ, whose own footer says it was last updated on 31 August 2026, answers "What are subscription plans?" with this: plans "give users access to Moescape benefits such as Mochis, premium features, or upgraded usage limits", and "The available plans and benefits may vary, so users should check the subscription page for the latest details."

That is a circular answer, and it is the reason the price of this product is hard to find. The complete ladder does exist in public, in the in-app purchase list on the US App Store listing, which is where every figure in this article came from. Treat them accordingly: they are what Apple shows US buyers, not what the vendor states on its own site, and the two are not the same kind of source.

There is a second consequence if you subscribe through the app rather than the web. The terms of service define the Service as "the Application", and an App Store subscription is cancelled and refunded through Apple, not through Moescape. That matters more here than usual, for reasons in the refund section below.

What does a Mochi actually buy?

The documentation lists what Mochi pays for, and conversation is on the list. In Moescape's own words, Mochi lets you "Generate high-priority images", "Enhance image quality with Hires.fix feature", "Achieve tailored results with ControlNet Feature", "Generate high quality videos" and "Chat with characters with high-quality LLM models".

What is not published anywhere, and this is the single biggest gap for a chat buyer, is how much Mochi a subscription tier includes and how much Mochi a single Tavern message burns. We looked at the docs, the FAQ, the subscription page and the App Store listing, and none of them state either number. So the honest advice is to budget on the assumption that a long conversation on a premium model draws down the same balance as image generation, and to test with the smallest commitment you are willing to lose. Anyone quoting you a precise messages-per-dollar figure for this platform is guessing.

The free allowance is documented, at least. A new account gets 100 Mochi, plus 50 free Mochi a day. The daily grant expires 24 hours after you claim it, so it does not accumulate while you are away, which makes it a trial rather than a way to use the product for nothing over time.

Can you earn Mochi instead of buying it?

Yes, and this is the more interesting half of the pricing story. If you write character bots rather than only using them, Moescape pays a commission: a Tavern chatbot creator earns 20% on user messages once a public bot passes 4,000 interactions in the last 90 days, credited daily. There are one-off milestone bonuses too, 150 Mochi for 1,000 post likes and collects, 200 for 1,000 uses of an image model and 100 for 1,000 spell uses.

The ceiling is the part to read carefully. Earnings are capped at 1,000 Mochi in any 30 day window, which at the best pack rate is about $5.90 of value a month, though unlike the daily free grant these do not expire. So it is a discount on a hobby rather than a second income, and if you are the kind of creator who is already tracking what each platform pays you across the month, it is worth knowing the cap before you count on it. The 4,000 interaction threshold also means most authors never reach the commission at all.

Can you get a refund from Moescape?

Rarely, and the two cases people most often ask about are both excluded in writing. The refund policy, whose own header says it was last updated on 9 September 2024, allows refunds "only applicable under exceptional circumstances", and defines those as extended service downtime and unauthorized use of your payment method.

Explicitly excluded: "dissatisfaction with the service output, such as the quality of AI-generated images or the nature of AI chat responses", and "user errors, such as accidental purchases". So if the writing is not what you hoped, or you bought the $99.99 pack when you meant the $9.99 one, the policy does not cover you. Requests must reach support "within 7 days of the transaction" and the team allows itself "up to 10 business days" to respond.

This is the practical argument for starting small. A $4.99 pack costs you 54% more per Mochi than a $99.99 one, and that premium is cheap next to a large purchase you cannot undo. It is also the argument for reading the content rules before you spend anything at all, which brings us to the thing pricing cannot fix.

Is Yodayo pricing different from Moescape pricing?

No, as far as anything published shows. Yodayo and Moescape run on one platform with two brand names and two currency names. The same documentation site serves both and publishes the same page twice: "Mochi serves as the currency on the Moescape website" on one, and "YoBeans serves as the currency on the Yodayo website" on the other. Everything under those two sentences is identical, including the 100 on signup plus 50 free a day, the same milestone bonuses, the same 1,000 monthly earnings cap, the same 20% creator commission and the same Discord server.

The clearest sign of which way the copying went is a line the vendor forgot to change: on the YoBeans page, the note still reads "Your daily free Mochi will expire 24 hours after being claimed." We are not going to tell you Yodayo has shut down, because yodayo.com still resolves and the docs describe both sites in the present tense. What is verifiable is that the rules, the currency mechanics and the support channels are the same product wearing two badges. Is Moescape AI worth it?

For anime art, video and LoRA training, yes, and it is not close. The image side is the real product: ControlNet, regional prompting, Hires.fix, an upscaler, video generation and a model hub, wrapped in a community that pays its contributors. Nothing in the companion-chat category competes with that, and Plus at $9.99 is a reasonable entry price for it.

For conversation, be careful, and for adult conversation, the answer is no at any price. The content policy states plainly that "Obscene, vulgar and pornographic content are not allowed", and it applies that rule to "both chatting and art". An automated classifier scores your material first, with human moderators able to reclassify, restrict or remove it. No tier on the ladder above changes that, so if adult roleplay is the reason you are pricing this product, you are pricing the wrong one. The category you actually want is adult AI chat built that way from the start.

On memory, Tavern is more honest than most: it publishes a context window for each of its five models, 8,192 tokens on Nephra 8B, Lunara 12B, Nephra 70B and Seth 70B, and 4,096 on Apollo 13B. That is a real ceiling on how much of a long conversation the character can still see, and it is worth comparing against what else you could buy for the same money. What to do if you are deciding today

If you want the art tools, buy Plus and a $19.99 Mochi pack, and do not buy more Mochi until you have watched a month of your own usage. The per-unit savings above that pack are small and the refund policy will not rescue an over-purchase. If you are on the fence about Platinum, note that its annual price is roughly Premium's monthly price annualized, so the twelve-month commitment is where that tier makes sense or nowhere.
